Best Teleprompter Glasses for Creators Reading Scripts on Camera

On this page, only the Amazon link for the INMO GO3 is an affiliate link. Links to Even Realities, Meta, and Rokid are plain links to the makers’ own sites. Specs come from manufacturer pages and Amazon public listings. Publish Pass did not test these glasses hands-on, and we don’t invent tests, readability scores, or earnings stories.

A few display smart glasses now ship a built-in teleprompter: your script shows up in the lens, and only you can see it. That sounds like the end of the prompter rig. It isn’t, quite. This guide covers which glasses actually list a teleprompter on the maker’s own site, what each one needs (app, ring, prescription), and when a classic beam-splitter prompter is still the better tool.

Top pick: INMO GO3. Camera-free alternative: Even Realities Even G2. Full-color step-up: Meta Ray-Ban Display. Filming fixed-camera talking-head Shorts at a desk? Start with our teleprompter guide for talking-head batch Shorts instead.

Who this is for

  • Creators who film walk-and-talk, vlog, street, or event content and can’t park a prompter in front of the lens
  • Hosts doing live talks, panels, or livestreams who want notes without looking down at a phone
  • Creators who already wear glasses and want script display built into an everyday frame (check each maker’s prescription range below)

Who should skip

  • Fixed-camera talking-head Shorts at a desk or tripod. A beam-splitter prompter puts the script directly over the camera lens, and glasses don’t (more below). See the teleprompter guide.
  • Anyone who wants a cheap fix. These are $599–$799+ wearables, and a phone-mount prompter costs far less
  • Creators who can’t or won’t run a companion phone app. Every pick here needs one
  • People filming in places where camera glasses aren’t welcome. Three of these five have cameras

Glasses vs a beam-splitter prompter: which do you need?

Your shoot Better tool
Seated talking-head, camera on a tripod, tight framing Beam-splitter prompter (teleprompter guide)
Walking, vlogging, or moving around a room while talking Teleprompter glasses
Live talk, panel, or stream where you face people, not one lens Teleprompter glasses
Bullet-point notes, not a word-for-word script Glasses work well, and so does a prompter
Lowest cost Beam-splitter prompter

Why the difference: with a beam-splitter prompter, the text sits on glass directly over the lens, so reading looks like eye contact. With glasses, the text floats in your view, not over the camera. In a tight shot, eyes scanning lines can still read as “reading.” Glasses win when you’re moving or facing people. The prompter wins for tight, fixed-camera talking-head takes.

Top pick: INMO GO3

INMO GO3 AI smart glasses with black frame, manufacturer product photo

Top pick: INMO GO3 on Amazon · ASIN B0H14TYLL3

Product: INMO GO3 AI glasses (base unit, glasses only)

Buyer note: The Amazon title reads “inmo GO3 AI Translastion Smart Glasses, Teleprompter AR Glasses with Camera” (the spelling is Amazon’s, not ours). It’s the same product INMO sells as the INMO GO3. INMO also sells bundles with the Ring4 control ring, a speaker, or sunglasses. This guide links the GO3 glasses listing. Match the title and bundle contents on the live listing before you buy. An older “inmo Go” model is a different, earlier product.

Sources: Specs from INMO’s product pages and the Amazon public listing. Not hands-on tested by Publish Pass.

Why it fits creators reading scripts (maker specs)

  1. Built-in teleprompter with voice-following auto-advance. INMO says pages turn automatically as you speak in English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Korean, and Cantonese. You can also swipe the temple touchpad or press the ring’s GO button to turn pages manually. (Source: INMO product page)
  2. Script import from your phone. TXT on Android, TXT/PDF/Word on iOS, with editing in the INMO App before you go live. (Source: INMO product page)
  3. Swappable batteries. INMO advertises a 5-second battery swap for long shoot days. It doesn’t state a teleprompter-specific runtime on its product page. (Source: INMO GO3 product page)
  4. Bright binocular display. Green waveguide in both lenses, 640×480, 30° field of view, rated up to 1500 nits. (Source: INMO GO3 spec page)
  5. Sold by INMO’s own Amazon store (INMO US) when we checked the listing (2026-10-11), with Amazon’s 30-day return window. Check who ships it on the live listing. (Source: Amazon listing)

Honest limits

  • Not hands-on. We haven’t judged readability outdoors or under studio lights. Do a test recording against your brightest light or window before a real shoot
  • The text isn’t over the camera lens, so for tight talking-head shots a beam-splitter prompter still looks more natural
  • Voice-following works in 7 languages only. Other languages use manual page turns
  • Built-in camera (INMO includes a camera cover). Follow venue and recording-consent rules
  • Prescription: INMO’s product page doesn’t state a prescription range. Check with INMO before buying if you need corrective lenses
  • Needs the INMO App on your phone. The Ring4 is optional and sold separately or in bundles
  • INMO shows the price as a sale ($599 vs $699 regular at our check), so prices change. Check the live listing

Camera-free alternative: Even Realities Even G2

Role: For creators who want everyday-looking glasses with no camera and the widest maker-stated prescription range of our three main picks (−12.00 to +12.00 single vision).

Product: Even G2 at Even Realities (official site; not sold on Amazon)

Maker specs (Even Realities G2 and teleprompter pages): voice-controlled teleprompter in the Even Realities app; optional Even R1 ring for scrolling ($249, sold separately); binocular green micro-LED waveguide, 640×350, 27.5° field of view, 1200 nits with auto-brightness; up to 2 days of battery with regular use, and the case holds seven full charges; IP65; no camera by design; 36 g. Prescription: single-vision lenses from −12.00 to +12.00. Even says progressive lenses go through its partner opticians. Price from $599 at our check (evenrealities.com, US).

Honest limits: Not on Amazon, so you buy, return, and get support directly from Even Realities. Even’s checkout says prescription orders are custom-made and non-returnable. The battery figure is for “regular use,” and Even doesn’t state a teleprompter-only runtime. Same eye line caveat as any glasses. Not hands-on.

Full-color step-up: Meta Ray-Ban Display

Role: A full-color display and a 12 MP camera in one frame, at a higher price, for creators who want more than a teleprompter.

Product: Meta Ray-Ban Display at meta.com (official site; not sold on Amazon)

Maker specs (Meta store, help center, and blog): teleprompter added in a phased rollout starting January 2026. Paste your notes in the Meta AI app, then scroll continuous text or swipeable cards and adjust text size. Navigate with the included Meta Neural Band or the glasses touchpad. Full-color monocular display (right lens), 600×600. Up to 6 hours mixed-use battery, plus up to 24 hours from the folding case. Prescription: −4.00 to +4.00, ordered at purchase. Launch price $799 including the Neural Band (Meta).

Honest limits: The display is in the right lens only. The narrower prescription range is −4.00 to +4.00. It has a camera, so the same venue and consent rules apply. Because the feature rolled out in phases, update the glasses and app before you count on it. Availability and buying options vary by retailer and region. Not hands-on.

Also considered

  • Even Realities Even G1: the previous Even model, sold out on Even’s US store when we checked (2026-10-14). Teleprompt with AI, manual, or automatic scroll; up to 1.5 days battery; 640×200 display; prescription lenses offered; no camera. The R1 ring doesn’t work with G1, per Even. Even G1 at evenrealities.com
  • Rokid Glasses (display model): “Invisible Teleprompter” with speech-paced smart scroll in the Rokid app; 49 g; up to 1500 nits; 12 MP camera; a magnetic prescription insert sold separately. Rokid states roughly 8–10 hours of mixed use (about 2 hours with the display always on) but no teleprompter-specific runtime, and we couldn’t confirm a current US price, so it’s not a pick yet. Rokid’s AI Glasses Style has no display and no teleprompter, so don’t mix them up. Rokid Glasses FAQ at rokid.com

Cameras, recording, and privacy

Three of the five glasses here have cameras: INMO GO3 (8 MP per the Amazon listing; INMO includes camera covers), Meta Ray-Ban Display (12 MP), and Rokid Glasses (12 MP). Even G2 and Even G1 have no camera. The teleprompter doesn’t need the camera on any of them.

Meta and Rokid say their glasses show an outward capture light while you take photos or video, and both say they warn you if that light is covered. INMO’s user manual lists a recording indicator light, and INMO also sells the GO3 with camera covers.

INMO also advertises automatic recording of in-person conversations and phone calls. Recording laws vary by state and country, and some places require everyone’s consent before you record audio or video. Ask before you record people, follow venue rules, and check your local laws. We aren’t giving legal advice.

Setup and workflow: script → glasses → record → clip

  1. Write short lines. Glasses show a small text block, so break the script into short sentences (Rokid’s own teleprompter guide recommends this too).
  2. Load the script in the companion app (INMO App, Even Realities app, or Meta AI app) and set the text size and display position.
  3. Pick a scroll mode. Use voice-following for word-for-word takes, and manual (touchpad or ring) for bullet points.
  4. Frame the camera straight ahead at eye level so your gaze stays near the lens. Do one test take and watch your eyes on playback.
  5. Record audio separately if you can. A lav keeps sound clean while you move (see our lav mic guide), and a phone tripod or gimbal handles walk-and-talk framing.
  6. Clip and caption afterward with our AI video tools guide.

Tip: Under studio lights or in direct sun, check readability and lens reflections in a test recording before a real shoot. We haven’t tested this, and it varies by setup.

FAQ

Can people see my script?
Even Realities, Meta, and Rokid describe the display as private to the wearer, and INMO’s Amazon listing says the same. We haven’t verified this ourselves, so do a test recording, especially under bright lights.

Will it look like I’m making eye contact with the camera?
Not as well as a beam-splitter prompter, which puts the text over the lens. With glasses, keep the camera straight ahead at eye level, use short lines, and check a test take.

Do I need a subscription?
None of the three makers’ pages lists a subscription for the teleprompter. Each one needs its free companion app. Rokid notes that its navigation feature needs a subscription for full access. Check the current terms before you buy.

Can I get them with my prescription?
Even G2: single vision −12.00 to +12.00. Meta Ray-Ban Display: −4.00 to +4.00. Rokid: a magnetic insert sold separately. INMO doesn’t state a range on its product page. These are the makers’ stated options only, so confirm with the maker for your prescription.

Do these glasses record people?
INMO GO3, Meta Ray-Ban Display, and Rokid Glasses have cameras (Even G2 and G1 don’t), and none of them needs the camera for the teleprompter. Meta and Rokid show a capture light while recording, INMO’s manual lists a recording indicator, and INMO advertises automatic recording of conversations and calls. Some places require everyone’s consent to record, so ask first and check your local laws.

Is this hands-on tested?
No. Publish Pass has not tested these glasses. Specs come from manufacturer pages and the Amazon public listing only.

How we chose these products

Publish Pass is a privately owned and operated site. For this page we:

  • Included only glasses whose teleprompter feature is listed on the maker’s own website (checked 2026-10-11). We left out models where we couldn’t verify the feature
  • Used manufacturer-stated specs for battery, display, and prescription, and the Amazon public listing for price and seller
  • Chose INMO GO3 (B0H14TYLL3) as the top pick. It was sold by INMO US on Amazon when we checked (2026-10-11)
  • Labeled the page not hands-on and made no readability or comfort claims we couldn’t source
